Brittany Nichole Matthews, 37 of Lindale, was arrested this week after reports said she kicked two police officers after she was caught breaking into an automobile.
Police said that Matthews entered the automobile at 192 Shorter Avenue and then refused to get out.
When police arrived on the scene, Matthews is accused of kicking two officers while being placed inside a patrol car.
She is also accused of repeatedly giving police a fake name and date of birth.
Matthews is charged with two counts simple battery, four counts giving false information to police, three counts obstruction and entering an automobile with intent to commit a crime.
