Cody Lee Higdon, 28 of Kingston, was arrested this week after reports said he imprisoned and beat a 36 year-old woman at his home on Blarney Way.
Reports stated that Higdon hit the woman on the back of the head and then refused to allow her to leave the home.
Higdon then allegedly proceeded to grab the victim’s neck and then choked her while covering her mouth. Reports went on to say that he then proceeded to get a screw driver and threatened to kill her with it.
Authorities added that the victim was placed in fear of being raped, robbed, or killed.
Higdon is charged with three counts of aggravated assault, simple battery, false imprisonment and terroristic threats/acts,
