Jaylon Terrial Ringo, 17 of Rockmart, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a stolen gun and with a minor girl in his possession.
Police said that they were dispatched to 869 Pleasant Hill Road in reference to a car crashing into a power pole.
The complainant who called 911 stated that the occupants of the vehicle had already left and were walking down the road.
When officers arrived on the scene they saw a Six Flags ID with a picture and the name “Jaylon R.”
A second officer later located Ringo and a 14 year-old female walking down Vinson Mountain Road.
The officer proceeded to locate a firearm, which had been reported stolen, on Ringo.
Ringo is charged with interstate interference with child custody, felony theft by receiving, possession of a firearm by a minor, criminal damage to property, too fast for conditions, failure to maintain lane and driving without a valid license.
