Crystal Gail Koon, 45 of Calhoun, was arrested this week after reports said she attacked a man while she was heavily intoxicated.
Reports stated that when officers arrived on scene, they saw Koon standing in the front yard, heavily intoxicated and covered in her own urine. She then told police that she had “drunk too much” and was upset that she found out her live-in boyfriend had cheated on her.
While speaking with the boyfriend, police said that Koon had “beat” him while she drank an entire bottle of vodka. He added that she also threw an object at their back window, causing it to break.
The victim went on to tell police that he tried to go outside and do yardwork and she followed up and began to punch him on his back and neck. Koon was also observed yelling and using vulgar and racist words outside in front of families and juveniles.
Koon is charged with simple battery, public drunkenness, disorderly conduct, criminal trespass, and battery.
