Jimmy Lee Brown III, 34 of Armuchee, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with drugs during a traffic stop for a window tint violation.
Police added that Brown is also accused of lying about his identity during the stop due to being wanted for another charge.
Authorities said that while taking him into custody, they located marijuana in his possession.
Brown is charged with possession of marijuana, giving false information to police, window tint violation, driving without a license and probation violation.
