Katherine Ann Pedro-Torres, 35 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she was found with drugs after shoplifting at the West Rome Walmart.
Officers said that Pedro-Torres was observed concealing items in her bag and walking out of the store without paying for them.
While being taken into custody, police said that they found a baggie and a glass pipe containing a white substance.
The total value of the items taken was around $5.
Pedro-Torres is charged with theft by shoplifting, possession of a schedule II controlled substance and possession of drug related objects.
