Horace Daniel King, 58 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he threatened to shoot 60 year-old woman during a dispute at a home on Kingston Hwy.
Reports added that the victim felt in fear of her life.
While taking King into custody, officers discovered that King was a convicted felon and was not lawfully allowed to even possess a gun.
King is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and terroristic threats/acts.
