A Henagar woman was killed just north of Gaylesville in a motorcycle accident on Sunday afternoon.
According to the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency, Christina T. Powell, 21 of Henagar crashed her bike on Al Highway 35, near mile marker 12 just north of Gaylesville just north of Gaylesville West of County Road 15 near county road 103.
The accident happened just prior to 6 PM on Sunday evening. Powell lost control of her bike, which ran off the road, and struck multiple trees, ejecting her from the bike.
Alabama State Troopers with the ALEA are investigating the accident.
