Cedartown Man Jailed After Threatening to Kill Grandmother

William Ryan Hammond, 37 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said he threatened to kill his elderly grandmother.

Reports stated that Hammond, who lives with the victim, were engaged in a verbal dispute when she called the police.  Hammond then repeatedly told the victim, in front of a child that he “should have fu***** killed you”.

While being placed in the patrol car, reports added that he only said that “I could have killed y’all”

Hammond is charged with 3^rd degree cruelty to children and terroristic threats/acts.
