Felicia Denise Carver, 52 of Adairsville, was arrested this week after reports said she stole from a NWGA area children’s doctor.
Reports stated that Carver told authorities that she had returned jewelry belonging to Dr. Raj Miniyar the exception of items that she had purchased. Investigators later found this to be untrue during the execution of a search.
Police added that Carver was found in possession of over 30 pieces of jewelry that belonged to Minyar.
According to Dr. Miniyar, the value of the jewlry was estimated to be at over a half million dollars.
Carver is charged with theft by conversion and false statements and writings.
