Kensey Deanne Alexander, 29 of Summerville, was jailed in Rome after reports said she committed a hit-and-run while under the influence of alcohol.
Reports said that Alexander rear-ended another vehicle at the red light of Veterans Memorial Highway and Riverside Parkway.
She was later located on Turner McCall Blvd where she was taken into custody.
Alexander is charged with hit and run, DUI and following too closely.
