Tammie Tamara Williams, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she assaulted her 38 year-old female roommate with a tire iron and hammer.
Reports stated that while cursing at the victim, Williams began to wave the tire iron in one hand and a hammer in the other toward her. Willaims then threatened the victim before hitting her in the hand with the hammer.
The victim reportedly suffered a “deep cut with flesh protruding from the wound”.
Investigators added that they also discovered that Williams had affixed a different license plate to her vehicle in order to conceal its identity.
Williams is charged with aggravated assault, aggravated battery, terroristic threats/acts disorderly conduct and concealing the identity of a vehicle.
