Sabastian Chadwick Smith, 23 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he refused to comply with officers and answer the door of his home so that they could execute an arrest warrant.
Police said that Smith was wanted on numerous counts of failure to appear.
Smith is charged with obstruction and six counts of failure to appear.
