Rome Man Jailed After Pinching Small Child’s Ears

David Duane Bowers Jr, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he pinched both ears of a 3 year-old child.

Reports added that the Bowers caused excessive physical pain that resulted in deep bruising to the child.

The incident, which occurred at a home on Corld Drive, occurred in front of a five-year-old child.

Bowers is charged with battery, 1^st degree cruelty to children and third degree cruelty to children.
