John Bartney Furr, 70 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with drugs after trying to pay a woman to have sexual relations with him at the America’s Best Value Inn Hotel
Reports said that he officered the woman methamphetamine and pills for her services.
After police arrived, officers said that they found him in possession of the methamphetamine.
Officers added that he attempted to pull away while being handcuffed.
Furr is charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of meth with intent to distribute, pandering, three counts obstruction and probation violation.
