Rome Gang Member Charged with Theft of Gun

Brandon Charles Griffin, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of a lost 9mm handgun.

Investigators said that Griffin never took measures to return the gun to its rightful owner as he was participating in street gang activity.

Griffin is accused of being involved in the street gang Kuttroat while gaining and maintaining possession of the gun.

Griffin is charged with felony theft of mislaid property, unlawful association with a street gang and unlawful acquire/maintain though criminal gang activity or proceeds deprived from internet or property.
