Rome-Floyd Parks and Recreation is excited to announce an upcoming baseball clinic, set to take place on March 29, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Darlington School Baseball Field. This unique opportunity will be led by an impressive lineup of instructors, including former Major Leaguer Mickey Weston, former professional player and current Darlington Middle School coach Chris Eberhart, and Darlington Head Coach Matt Larry.

The clinic is open to boys and girls aged 7 to 14 and will focus on developing fundamental baseball skills such as hitting, throwing, catching, baserunning, and pitching. Participants will benefit from expert guidance and hands-on training, ensuring a comprehensive learning experience.

At the conclusion of the session, a former Major Leaguer will share a personal testimony, highlighting how their faith in Jesus contributed to achieving their full potential. This inspiring element adds a unique dimension to the clinic, emphasizing the importance of character development alongside athletic skill-building.

Registration for the clinic is now open, with a fee of $20.00 per participant. As a special incentive, athletes who register by March 21, 2025, will receive a complimentary t-shirt. This event promises to be an engaging and enriching experience for young baseball enthusiasts, and interested families are encouraged to secure their spots early.
