Tony Nathaniel Jacobs, 22 of Rydal, was arrested in Rome after reports said he fought with officers after they found him in possession of marijuana.
Police said that when they found the marijuana inside a box, Jacobs attempted to reach behind his back and ignored their commands to show them his hands.
Officers added that they had to physically restrain Jacobs during the arrest.
Jacobs is charged with felony obstruction and possession of marijuana.
