Earthworks Pottery of Rome has left its home, Firehouse #3, after 20 years. Firehouse #3 was given its name being the third firehouse ever to be built in Rome. This time period was when horses carried the water tanks by a horse drawn cart!!!
Not much has been done to be building over the years, but the Earthworks family loved the firehouse just as it was. Up until about 4 years ago, Earthworks was still heating water like the pioneers by a heater-type stove, kettles and coffee pots.
New beginnings began this week in a new location and we’re so excited that our growth over the last few years has led us here. Come join us at 308 E. 6th Avenue in Historic Downtown Rome. We offer date nights, girl’s nights, 1-time classes, 6-week sessions, workshops, and more!
