Alfred Eric Stanley, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he got into a drunken fight with a 17 year-old in the front yard of a home on Old School Road.
Reports stated that Stanley kept yelling “I love you” as he beat the victim.
Officers went on to say that Stanley headbutted their patrol car and later the booking desk at the jail.
Stanley is charged with public drunk.
