The BrightLight Foundation is gearing up for its highly anticipated 2nd Annual Clubs and Clays for Kids event, set to take place at Barnsley Resort on May 15, 2025. This exciting fundraising event will bring together supporters for a day of competition, camaraderie, and charitable giving, all in support of pediatric families in need.

The event will kick off with a thrilling clay shooting competition, followed by a delicious lunch, and then transition into a shotgun start golf tournament. The day will conclude with a festive Cocktail Auction, complete with live music, drinks, and a few special surprises.

The Clubs & Clays event is the foundation’s key annual fundraiser, dedicated to raising money for a variety of initiatives that benefit children facing health challenges. Proceeds from the event will support pediatric inpatient families, fund children’s hospital events, provide nurse care packages, and address the ongoing needs of families throughout the year.

“We are excited to offer a fun-filled day that also expresses our heartfelt appreciation for our generous donors who make this work possible,” said a spokesperson from the BrightLight Foundation. “This event helps us continue our mission to spread joy and support to children and healthcare professionals facing personal battles.”

The BrightLight Foundation’s mission is rooted in a deeply personal journey. Born from the founder’s own experience with adversity, the foundation has become a beacon of hope, collaborating with a community of supporters to make a lasting impact. Through donations, the foundation has helped fund various programs benefiting Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta’s family support programs, Child Life Specialists, and much more. Efforts have included enhancing playrooms, providing entertainment for inpatient children, offering sustenance to families, and supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities.

There are several ways to get involved in the Clubs and Clays for Kids event, including participating as a team, becoming a sponsor, or simply attending the Cocktail Auction. All funds raised will go toward the foundation’s initiatives to bring comfort and joy to children and families battling health challenges.

“We would love to see you there,” the spokesperson added. “Your participation helps us continue our important work, and together, we can make a difference in the lives of children and families in need.”
