Jose Arturo Reyes Cornejo, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week on numerous charges following an incident on Shorter Avenue that saw him hit a 30 year-old man on the back.
Police said that Cornejo is also accused of operating a motor vehicle on North Elm Street while intoxicated with children in the car.
Cornejo is charged with battery, DUI, endangering a child by DUI, driving on a suspended license, improper headlights, failure to appear. Police said that Cornejo is also accused of leaving
