Glenn Franklin Hamilton, 47 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he violated his probation and then attempted to flee officers who were attempting to take him into custody.
Reports said that when officers arrived at his home on Maple Road, Hamilton had to be chased on foot while ignoring commands to stop.
Hamilton is charged with obstruction and three counts probation violation.
