Evan Blaine Adams, 20 of LaFayette, was arrested in Armuchee after reports said he stole a gun and money from a business at 6214 Martha Berry Highway.
Police said that Adams stole a Taurus G3C handgun (valued at $300) and $100 cash from a 21 year-old male.
Adams is charged with felony theft by taking, misd theft by taking and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
