Zaylan Trelmond Gibson, 22 of Cedartown, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked and beat a pregnant woman.
The victim suffered serious injuries that reportedly could have led to her death.
Gibson is also accused of imprisoning the woman at the location.
The victim also told police that when she attempted to call 911 for help, Gibson took her phone and refused to allow her to call for help.
Gibson is charged with aggravated assault, battery against a pregnant woman, false imprisonment, theft by taking and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
