Yunervicc Boeta Smith, 62 of Rome, was arrested this week on drug charges after police said he tossed a baggie of fentanyl out of a car window during a traffic stop for not having a working tag light.
Officers said that while being stopped, Smith tossed the drugs out of the car’s window.
The stop occurred at the intersection of GA 101 and Zona Kay Road.
Smith is charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, no tag light and probation violation
