Jaylon Dmonte Jester, 25 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he attacked and threatened a woman with a kitchen knife at a home on Reservoir Street.

Reports said that Jester told the victim that he was going to shoot up the home and if she called police would kill her.

The incident occurred in front of a 10 year-old child.

Jester was also wanted for the robbery of a store at 1929 North Broad Street last October 6th,

Reports said that Jester discharged a gun near the roadway while committing the robbery.

Jester is charged with robbery, aggravated assault, cruelty to children, terroristic threats/acts, discharging a firearm near a pubic street, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
