Sheena Brooke Laroche, 40 of Cedartown, and Jose Guadalupe Segura, 22 of Cedartown, were arrested this week after reports said they were hiding out in a home while in possession of drugs.
Police said that they were dispatched to a home at 206 Merritt’s Ave in an effort to search for wanted subjects.
Upon our arrival, officers said that they knew that Jose Segura and Sheena LaRoche were staying in the back building on the property.
At this time officers went to the building and began knocking. It was then they allegedly heard movement inside the building but no one answered the door. Officers proceeded to make contact with the property owner who was asleep inside the residence. He then began talking to his son (Segura) through the door before he opened it.
He was immediately taken into custody.
LaRoche was then taken into custody after officers found her hiding in the back of the building.
When officers were searching for the subject inside we did locate a glass pipe along with a bag of a clear crystal-like substance. The items were sitting in plain view next to the bed. The inside of the building also smelt of smoked marijuana.
Laroche is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, theft by taking, 1st degree burglary, failure to repot abuse of an elderly/disabled person, and obstruction of law enforcement.
