Jennifer Lorraine Handy, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports stated that she allegedly punched a 49 year-old man in the face while driving along South Broad Street.
Police said that the victim suffered visible bodily harm from the punch.
Handy is charged with battery, driving on an expired license, operation of an unregistered vehicle and driving without insurance.
