Christopher Paul Copeland, 55 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he refused to allow paramedics inside his Pine Park Road home to give aid to a woman suffering from an overdose.
Reports said that the victim, a 45 year-old woman, was found unconscious and suffering from an overdose when authorities arrived on scene.
Copeland is charged with obstruction and interference with emergency medical professional.
