Terrence Jerome Johnson, 32 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he fought with police while being arrested for beating a 38 year-old woman in the parking lot of Chili’s on Turner McCall Blvd.
Reports said that events began when Johnson threatened the kill the woman while repeatedly beating her with his fist.
Officers added that when they arrived on scene, Johnson fought with police, kicking one and breaking his prescription glasses.
Johnson is charged with battery, felony obstruction, criminal trespass, terroristic treats/acts and willful obstruction.
