Joshua Keith Williams, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after a traffic stop became abusive with Georgia State Patrol troopers.
Reports said that troopers pulled Williams over on GA 20 near Horseleg Creek Road after they observed him driving with an expired tag decal.
Upon stopping, trooper said that Williams became verbally abusive to them and refused to show them a valid driver’s license.
It was then discovered that Williams’ drivers license had expired back on August 6th.
Once given a citation, Williams allegedly ripped it up while being verbally abusive to troopers.
Williams reached out to CVN and said, “What the police officer described as abusive language was that I told him he should be ashamed of himself for pulling people over on Christmas Eve for administrative nonsense. That his mother would be ashamed of him for being a boot licking tax collector and messing with people that work for a living. I never even cursed at that man.”
Williams is charged with driving without license in possession, driving on expired license, operation of a vehicle and obstruction.
