Brandon Rodriguez-Navarro, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said they found him with drugs while speeding at a high rate down the Connector toward Martha Berry Blvd.
Officers said that they clocked Rodriguez-Navarro driving 65 mph in a 45 zone.
After stopping, officers found marijuana and psilocybin mushrooms packaged in multiple containers.
Rodriguez-Navarro is charged with speeding, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects and distribution of drugs.
