Johnny Eugene Willis, 50 of Adairsville, a convicted felon, was arrested in Rome after reports said he was found in possession of four firearms.
Reports said that the encounter with police occurred near the intersection of Ga 53 and Todd Street.
Willis, a convicted felon, is not allowed by law to possess firearms.
Willis is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
