Donna Kay Graham, 65 of Cedartown, Eason, was arrested this week after officers said they saw her distributing drugs in the area of Jones Street.

Officers said that while on patrol they noticed a passenger car leaving the intersection of Jones St and Central St. That intersection is known for criminal activities such as drug use and sales.

At this time, reports said that officers began to follow the vehicle down Central St towards Main St. Immediately officers said that they noticed the vehicle had no working tag lights. The vehicle then failed to maintain its lane of travel after crossing Rock Street.

A traffic stop was then conducted on the vehicle for the tag light violation.

During the stop Graham allegedly became extremely nervous and “could not focus on what she was doing”. Officers said she seemed very anxious and was fumbling through her belongings looking for her driver’s license.

During questioning, officers added that Graham started to act erratic, while showing extreme nervousness, and had inconsistent stories.

A search of her property resulted in officers finding a case with half of a glass pipe and crack cocaine.

When Graham exited the vehicle officers also said that they noticed a fresh piece of tin foil in the corner of the floorboard under the edge of the seat. Graham advised that this was where the crack was. Inside this tin foil was 3 white rock like substances that were consistent with crack cocaine.

On the way to the jail, Graham asked the officer if he missed anything during the search and she stated we did that there were multiple pills including lorcets and a suboxone inside the pill bottles in her purse.

Once at the jail, officers searched her purse and found 14 Hydrocodone pills, 7 Percocets, 1 Tizanidine, and 1 Suboxone.

Graham is charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a scheduled II and Scheduled II controlled substance, possession/sale of dangerous drugs, possession of drug related objects and a tag light violation.
