Lina Dowdy Griffin, 40 of Cedartown, was arrested this week when she beat a 19 year-old female in the head, causing a concussion and the loss of hair.
Reports stated that events began when Griffin pointed her fingers in the victim’s face while yelling at her.
Griffin then proceeded to hit the victim on both sides of her head and face causing visible markings and puncture wounds. Griffin also pulled out portions of hair from the victim’s head.
The actions caused the victim to suffer a concussion during the attack which occurred on Culpepper Road.
Griffin is charged with simple assault two counts battery and criminal trespass.
