Brian Jonathan Manuel, 19 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he failed to complete his annual registration requirement with the Floyd County Sheriff’s Office.
Manual was arrested in 2022 after he was found guilty of raping and choking a child under the age of 16.
Reports said that acts occurred between August and December of 2021 at a home on McHenry Drive.
Manuel is charged with sex offender registration.
