Rome Man Jailed for Defrauding Local Car Dealership out of Funds

Cody Franklin McCollum, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he defrauded a local car dealership out of money between August 7^th and September 24^th of this year.

Reports said that McCollum used the victim’s bank card to obtain a total of $938.50 worth of money, goods and servicers between the listed dates.

Police added that McCollum used the card on at least 15 different transactions.

McCollum is charged with fifteen counts financial transaction card fraud.
