Lamar Casario Tiggs, 38 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he punched a 61 year-old man in the face during an argument.
Reports stated that the victim suffered visible bruising and swelling to his eye.
The incident occurred at the victim’s Ellison Street home.
Tiggs is charged with battery.
