Daniel Eugene Whatley, 27 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he kicked a car door before pouring motor oil over the top and on the front seats.
Reports said that the incident occurred at the victim’s home on Hardy Avenue.
Whatley is charged with battery and criminal trespass.
