Kodi JaShad Keith, 45 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found in possession of drugs while driving under the influence along Carterville Highway at the Circle K store.
Reports stated that the events began when Keith left his lane of travel and then refusing to pull over for emergency vehicles before finally stopping.
Officers added that they found Keith in possession of Baclofen, a dangerous drug, and a rolled up dollar bill with white powder that was suspected to be used for snorting drugs.
Keith is charged with three counts obstruction, DUI, possession of drug related objects, possession of dangerous drugs, improper tail lights, display of license plates, operation of vehicles on approach of emergency vehicles and failure to maintain lane.
