A 26 year-old Rome man, Tariq Rakim Zekiah Cooper, who had been banned from all Walmart and Sam’s Club Property last year was arrested this week for shoplifting at the store.
Police said that last week Cooper was captured on camera concealing $184.04 worth of merchandise and leaving the store without paying.
Reports said that Cooper was arrested in December 2023 for similar actions.
Cooper is charged with criminal trespass, theft by shoplifting and obstruction.
