An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Joshua Franklin Reynolds Jr, 23 of Rome, is facing additional charges after he allegedly attacked an injured another inmate.
Reports said that Reynolds picked up a 19 year-old inmate and slammed him to the ground and began to repeatedly hit him with his fist.
The victim was left with visible injuries and bleeding to his head from the attack.
Reynolds is now charged with simple assault, battery and unlawful acts in a penal institution.
