A Chattooga County man was killed in a hit-and-run crash over the weekend on Highway 114 near Ragland Road in Chattooga County.
Reports said that just before 6 AM on Saturday, Georgia State Patrol troopers were dispatched to the scene.
The pedestrian, 27-year-old Austin Ryan Carnes of Lyerly, was transported to a Rome hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
