Cody William Blaylock, 35 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he took keys to a 2016 Jeep Cherokee from a woman’s purse and then proceeded to take her car and bank card.
Officers added that Blaylock also took a bank card from her purse and made $72 in purchase while she slept.
The incident occurred at a location on Reeceburg Road
The vehicle is valued at $15,000.
Blaylock is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle and theft by taking.
