A 46 year-old Rome man, Ricky Lamar Turner, was arrested two times within less than three hours this week.
Reports stated that Turner was stopped on – and taken into custody at 7:40 pm on Thursday. Turner was then released at 9:15pm and sent home. Officers were then called to Turner’s home at 9:36 pm in regards to a domestic dispute.
Reports stated Turner threw a full beer can at a woman during the dispute at their home on Olmstead Street.
The victim was left with visible injury to her leg from the attack.
Turner has been charged with DUI and simple battery.
