Rome Man Arrested for Burglarizing Home, Hitting 8 month-old Child, Mother

Laderrious Dean Sr, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he broke into a home on Reservoir Street while brandishing a gun.

Reports added that Dean proceeded to hit an 8 month-old female child on the head, leaving a visible injury.

Authorities went on to say that Dean then hit the child’s mother on the right side of her face.

Dean is charged with aggravated assault, battery, 3^rd degree cruelty to children, 1^st degree cruelty to children, first degree burglary and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
