Avon Trey Grissom 27, and Samantha Kayleen Dowdy, 24, both of Rome, were arrested this week after a report said they illegally used another person’s EBT card to make purchases at multiple locations around Rome and Lindale.
Report said that the couple used all of the victim’s funds to buy food before trading them for cash.
The purchases were made from August 15 until August 24 of this year.
Both are charged with identity fraud.
