At about 9pm Monday night, October 7, Gordon County deputy sheriffs were dispatched to a private residence near Sugar Valley in response to a report of a disorderly trespasser.
Upon arrival, deputies located the offender, subsequently identified as one Misty Ann Esparza, age 44, of no fixed address, as well as a fire on the front porch which had been set by Esparza.
Deputies arrested Esparza without incident, and suppressed the fire with extinguishers.
Esparza was jailed and charged with Arson and other offenses.
