Amanda Sue Charles, 37 of Rome, was sentenced to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of abusing her seven children.
The boyfriend, Gabriel Ragland, was sentenced last month to 15 years in prison.
The children told authorities that Ragland beat them with items such as a metal spatula, spoons and a wood stick. They also told authorities that they were forced to live in motels and eat out of dumpsters. The children was also forced to watch Charles and Ragland have sexual relations in hotel rooms.
During the hearing Charles told Judge Jack Niedrach on Tuesday that she was also a victim of Ragland’s abuse and accused him of raping her.
Charles will be given credit for two years time served.

A homeless 34 year-old Rome woman, Amanda Sue Charles, was arrested this week after reports said she forced numerous children watch her have sex with their stepfather.
The acts occurred between April 1, 2018 and January 27, 2019 at the Economy Inn on Martha Berry Blvd.
Charles is charged with seven counts child molestation and two counts probation violation.

Reports said the acts occurred between April 1, 2018 and January 27, 2019 while at the Economy Inn on Martha Berry Boulevard.
The children also told authorities that Ragland forced them to watch porn.
Ragland is charged with seven counts of child molestation.
